Little Vintage Days meets Quirky!!

I had the pleasure of meeting Leisa, Ms Quirky Comforts during my wedding preparations last year, when I won a voucher to spend in her Etsy store
I was so thrilled to add some beautiful hand made vintage and eco decor for my DIY vintage wedding! Yes please!

Two high tea stands made from repurposed vintage plates & tea cups, were ordered, a perfect fit for my sweets buffet...

...as well as two rustic timber chalk boards. My Quirky vintage decor were happily delivered by Leisa.

So, Quirky and I chatted, kept in touch and then early this year discussed collaborating our vintage decor and props collections for hire as well as providing a styling service together!

So, began the collaborative creative team of Little Vintage Days and Quirky Comforts!!

Quirky's repurposed timber bed head into a shabby chalk board sign and timber bed posts into rustic candle sticks!

 The vintage bakelite telephone...
rustic vintage tins and books.

Our collection now comprises vintage and repurposed decor and props, as well as vintage inspired and recrafted custom made decor by the talented and creative Leisa! Our collection is forever growing as we both love vintage and recycling, and there is just so much out there to source, discover and recreate...

 Rustic timber ladder

 Repuporsed vintage doilies into bunting!!

 ...Shabby painted birdcage

Vintage glass bottles and vintage plates repurposed
into high tea stands.

...shabby, vintage tea cup duos and cake stands

...shabby tea pots, doilies and vintage bottles

 ...handmade lampshades

...various vintage vases and unique decor.

...and much, much more!!

So, from our love and joy of vintage and all things vintage inspired and repurposed, Litle Vintage days and Quirky Comforts hope to provide a little bit of inspiration and creative styling for your next vintage and eco event. :)

from little things big things grow...

Last year I got married.
After 10 years with my partner and 4 children later,
I thought it was a good time to get married!!
I thought it would be a lovely way to celebrate as a couple and as a family, the bond and the love we had created together.

So, the wedding planning began with a certain regard to our minimum budget. We both wanted an outdoor wedding with a casual feel.
I wanted to create both a simple and stylish ceremony with a relaxed and fun reception atmosphere.

I liked the idea of a vintage theme...
no, loved the idea of a vintage theme.
I also preferred to choose eco friendly options as much as possible.

And so, I created my little vintage, eco, handmade wedding...
made with love. X

It was such a beautiful little vintage day.

I had enjoyed the creative process of sourcing my vintage and eco decor so much, that I wanted to add to my collection and hire it out for others to style their own little vintage and eco weddings.

The seed for Little Vintage Days was planted.
